Actions Adding Value To The Future And Possible Areas Of Cooperation Were Discussed

Veli Saritoprak, a Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Industry and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAV), and his colleagues visited  Bartin University Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun. 

During the visit,  views were exchanged on cooperation issues between BARU and TUSIAV. TUSIAV Board Members Cemil Sedefoğlu, Celalettin Solmaz, and Kutlu Tamay, TUSIAV West Black Sea Coordinator, Businessman Mehmet Kemik, and his assistant, Lawyer Melda Yanbalak took part in the meeting.

Rector Uzun, expressing his happiness regarding the visit, stated that "Bartın University has aimed to contribute to the development of our country, starting from its region. He also stated that "in this framework, we also aim to add value to our future in a cooperative sense with all our components".

President Sarıtoprak thanked Rector Uzun for his hospitality and said they follow BARÜ with interest.

Sarıtoprak said, "We follow Bartın University closely and are pleased with the work done and the successes achieved. He also said, "At this point, we will be happy regarding the possible cooperation that might be developed between Bartın University and TÜSIAV."

Following the BARÜ Rectorate office visit, Rector Uzun, President Sarıtoprak, and their colleagues moved to Kutlubey Campus. With more than 100 thousand printed books, more than eight million electronic publications, the fifth largest library in the region used by thousands of people for their studies every month, and a research-development project area were visited.
