Another Important Achievement Of BARU: It Left Behind 4365 Universities In 6 Years
According to the Webometrics World University Rankings published in 2022, Bartın University (BARU) has achieved another important success by leaving behind 4365 universities in 6 years.
The Webometrics World Ranking of Universities, which evaluates higher education institutions in the world on indicators of visibility, openness and excellence, has been published. The success of Bartın University (BARU), where important studies are carried out in a structure that focuses on quality was reflected in Webometrics reports. Accelerating its work with a rising momentum, BARÜ ranked 2672 among 31 thousand higher education institutions evaluated in more than 200 countries. Ranking 7377 in 2017, BARÜ managed to surpass 4365 universities in 6 years.
BARU ranks 8140 in the visibility (web content) indicator, 1810 in the openness (most cited researchers) indicator and in the excellence indicator (The number of publications in the top 10 per cent of the most cited in 27 disciplines in the 5-year period between 2017-2021) it took its place in 2263.
BARU rose to 73rd place among 212 higher education institutions in Turkey in the general evaluation. Ranking 101st in the visibility indicator and 77th in the clarity indicator, BARU rose to 64th in the excellence indicator.
