Bartın University has achieved a remarkable success in the “2025–2026 URAP Türkiye Rankings” announced by the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) Research Laboratory, which operates under the Informatics Institute of Middle East Technical University (METU).
In the list that includes 198 universities from across Türkiye, Bartın University ranked 59th overall, marking a 14-place rise compared to the previous year. This achievement once again demonstrates the University’s growing academic productivity and research capacity.
Among state universities, Bartın University advanced nine places to rank 48th, while also moving up to 14th place in the category of “Universities without Medical Faculties”, and to 18th place among “Universities Established After 2000.”
The URAP ranking is based on 15 indicators evaluating academic performance, including publications, citations, scientific documents, doctoral studies, faculty/student ratio, international and national collaborations, and TÜBİTAK project performance. Bartın University increased its scores in all these categories, showing an overall improvement in its academic standing.
In specific ranking categories, Bartın University achieved the following:
32nd in Citation Score,
37th in Article Score,
46th in TÜBİTAK Project Score,
47th in International Collaboration Score.
The University also improved its performance in the areas of “National Collaboration,” “Scientific Documents,” “Faculty/Student Ratio,” and “Doctorate Score.”
