BARU Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya Meets with Our Faculty’s Students at TEKNOFEST Istanbul
The excitement of TEKNOFEST Istanbul, the world’s largest aerospace and technology festival, continues at Atatürk Airport. Hosting many events ranging from air shows to technology competitions, the festival was also attended by Bartın University (BARU) Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Akkaya.
Rector Akkaya visited the popular BARU stand and received information about the projects of students from the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design. He examined the innovative works of our faculty’s TUNGA SAYE UAV Team and Space Camel Rocket Team, both of which were finalists in TEKNOFEST competitions, and congratulated the students on their achievements.
Rector Akkaya, accompanied by Rector’s Advisor Asst. Prof. Dr. Özkan Avcı, also visited other stands across the festival area. He received information about ongoing activities, including those at the YÖK Science Communication stand.
Highlighting that TEKNOFEST plays a key role in increasing young people’s interest in science and technology, Rector Akkaya expressed his satisfaction with Bartın University’s active participation in such a significant event.
